Who leads SAMINS

Charlie Agüero

General manager · naval engineer

Charlie leads SAMINS A&T S.A.C., a B2B startup that designs and integrates digital solutions for mining, the maritime sector and industry. Under Charlie’s direction, the company applies high-precision 3D scanning, photogrammetry and extended reality (XR) to solve technical problems in the field and make operations more efficient and safer.

Charlie heads the development of interactive digital twins for infrastructure inspection, predictive maintenance and staff training in demanding environments.

A naval engineer from Peru’s National University of Engineering (UNI) with an MBA, Charlie moderates SAMINS’s expert panels on the naval sector and presented “Digital twins applied to the naval sector” at the 2nd SINAV.
